Client NCCC & Carolyn Waithe, a wonderful person who took on the completer project representing the church.
New Cross Christian centre required a totally different approach to lighting, they required something more Charismatic, colour and mode was very important to them.
We came up with a bespoke pendant with low compact lamps with colour filters for the uplighting all on separate channels and could be dimmable, they were able to mix the colours or just have one colour. The downlighting was achieved using low compact 830K warm white lamps on dimmable channels.
Under gallery and porch lights were also bespoke using the low compact 830K warm white lamps.
The actual colour finish of the metalwork or frame work of the luminaires was so to match the frame work of the new chairs.
Directional lighting was used for the platform and Baptism pool.
The pendants were also used as emergency luminaires as well.
Energy efficiency rating A.
The clients were amazed and mentioned that the lighting was just what they had imagined.
